Our Scotland distillery tours are tailored for whisky connoisseurs but also for partners who may prefer castles and walking. We can adapt this tour to suit you and your friends or family. In Speyside and Aberdeenshire, there are some magnificent castles to visit, and the countryside of the Cairngorms National Park is nearby.
This tour can be taken as a two, three of four-night trip. Allow enough time to see the royal family’s Scottish estate, Balmoral, and explore a little of the countryside while learning about the formation of Scotland’s iconic glacial landscapes. Find outlaws’ hideaways, scenic lochs, and castles steeped in stories and legends. All in the shadow of Scotland’s spectacular Cairngorm Mountains.

- Start / finish: Your tour starts and finishes at Waverley railway station, Edinburgh.

- Getting there: Rail travel between Edinburgh and Stonehaven, and return from Aberdeen to Edinburgh on the final day.
- Getting around: Comfortable air conditioned minibus.
- Weather: May to August in Aberdeenshire is typically warm. Rain is always possible, and guests should be prepared with warm and waterproof clothing.
